Things You See In The Library
I like the fairly new Millbrae library. It has that cozy feel to it like an extension of your living room. Just with a smattering of middle school kids. And dozens of computers and tons of books and no smut available. Just like my living room - smut free! I keep my smut under the mattress of my bed. They do, however, have R rated (euro and asian, tantamount to soft porn) dvds that to my suprise is readily available to anyone. Kudos. This section of the library is called the chill room. You see Amber and P, (just say it - PEE! hihihihi) short for Prunella, lounging around. And to think you can see a lot in here. I saw myself (see image below). And I saw some Alaskan masks and stuff.

Halloween on Taylor St., Millbrae
"I am reaper, terror, slasher. I am BEOWULF!" Okay, that is what he said in the first trailer but on the second one he says, "I am reaper, slasher, I am the teeth in the night. I am BEOWULF!" Happy Halloween. I walked the crowded Taylor St. and all I can say is, "I need more battery!" I ran out of juice just in the thick of things. Many kids were running around with moms and dads yelling after them. Yet, among the throngs of ghouls and goblins, I got a handful of snapshots of houses fully decked. Ok I got two houses all decked out and some not so decorated. But I enjoyed the night. Simple and nice. I like Beowulf. I read it when I was a kid. But the movie is loosely based on the epic English literature (or so they say) and I do have doubts on how good it will be. If you do need to know about it, don't wikipedia it. Just read one of a dozen books about it. Like the one Seamus Heaney wrote.

Greek Fest 2007
As soon as the Love Parade ended, we headed out to the Greek Fest. With nothing to eat for lunch we stuffed ourselves with whatever we can lay our hands on to. Like lamb chops, calamari and other Greek food that I couldn't pronounce nor spell. Above is a girl in a traditional Greek costume.
